DSR - Distance Selling Regulations Your Satisfaction Guaranteed “any contract concerning goods or services concluded between a supplier and a consumer under an organised distance sales or service provision scheme run by the supplier who, for the purpose of the contract, makes exclusive use of one or more means of distance communication up to and including the moment at which the contract is concluded” - Note This includes the Phone and Internet. What Do the Distance Selling Regulations mean for You? We try really hard to make sure that the guitar you intend to buy from us is exactly what you expect it to be. We accurately describe all our guitars and we aim to provide a good selection of detailed pictures which allow you to see exactly what you are getting. For used guitars we point out any damage we can see on the guitar. We do not accept orders directly from our web site because we prefer to talk with you about your prospective purchase, to make absolutely sure that we are providing the best match for your requirements. Having done this since our begining we find that it has ensured that customers are wholly satisfied with their purchases. We have always offered a 7 day return service and now as we comply fully with the Distance Selling Regulations, which effectively formalises this 7 day return policy* for all consumers and suppliers alike. This is good news for both supplier and customer. Please note that the DSR terms do not apply to "bespoke" or "one-off" items which are specifically made to your order. So in the event that we have customised a guitar for you,on your instruction, or obtained a guitar as a Special Order, at your instruction, then it will not be subject to the DSR process and as such cannot be returned under those terms. How does DSR work ? Basically, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason then you are entitled, in law, to return the item to us for a refund. *Under the DSR process you are entitled to 7 working days commencing from the day after receipt of the goods. Working days do not include Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays. We will deduct the cost of shipping from this refund if we collect the goods, equally you may arrange and pay return carriage yourself. You must, of course return the item in exactly the same condition it was delivered to you and you have a duty to look after the item while it is with you and to pack it correctly. We would suggest that you therefore retain all the original packing materials in case you decide to return an item. All new guitars have a cellophane protection on the scratchplate, do not remove this unless you intend to keep the instrument. We cannot offer a refund where the goods are not returned to us in the same condition as we delivered them to you. This is simply fair. Please Note we enclose full written details of our DSR compliant returns policy with your instrument when it's delivered, you may wish to read this carefully.
